Before entering real estate, Alain was a well-known restaurateur and the owner of two of Rancho Santa Fe’s most popular dining destinations: Bolero-Foods of Mexico and Giardino, an elegant Italian restaurant. These ventures honed his ability to understand people, anticipate needs, build trust, and provide white-glove service—skills that now define his real estate approach.

Background
Raised in Paris and now living in San Diego, Alain has lived in Rancho Santa Fe for over 18 years. His journey into real estate began when Doug Harwood, an iconic and highly respected Real Estate Broker in Rancho Santa Fe and Del Mar, dined at Alain’s restaurant and saw something unique in him. Doug told him, “Alain, the way you treat people, the way you talk about real estate—you need to join my company, Coldwell Banker. You’ll be a success.” Inspired by that moment and encouraged by one of the best in the business, Alain took the leap—and never looked back.
